On March 3, Governor Wolf announced that 29 local and regional Intermediate Units will be administering the Johnson and Johnson single-dose COVID-19 vaccine to educators and other school staff throughout Pennsylvania. The vaccine will be administered over the next few weeks.
Members should have received an email from their school with a link to a COVID-19 Vaccination Survey. The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, March 5 at 5:00 p.m. If you are interested in getting the vaccine and have not received the survey, contact your administrator immediately. Completion of the survey is what is needed for the IU distribution program to alert you of your appointment and ensure that supplies are adequately distributed across the state.
Vaccination sites are expected to begin operations between March 10 and 13.
