The Pennsylvania House of Representatives recently approved House Bill 101, which would require the Department of Education to disseminate economic education and personal finance literacy materials to public and private schools.  The State Treasury is also charged with supporting the implementation of the bill.  Additionally, the Department of Education would recognize schools that implement exemplary economic and personal financial literacy programs.
