Here at the Keystone Teachers Association, we are deeply saddened to hear about the tragedy that occurred yesterday at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
The staff and Board of Directors would like to send our sincere condolences to the families who lost loved ones in this tragic shooting. Our thoughts and prayers are also with the families and the community affected by this tragedy.
As educators, you are committed to your profession, your schools and especially your students. This strength was also found in Parkland as teachers went to great lengths to protect their students, even at the expense of their own lives. We take a moment today to remember those impacted by yesterday’s tragedy and send strength to those affected as they go through this difficult time.
