KEYTA’s Points to Ponder
–First in a series of things to think about
After the Presidential election, the Education Week Research Center surveyed over a thousand teachers and school district leaders concerning their political behaviors and perceptions.
Their study found that only half of those surveyed voted for Hilary Clinton, with the rest voting for either Donald Trump, a third-party candidate or not at all. Yet the NEA/PSEA supported only Clinton.
KEYTA on the other hand endorsed no candidate. Our dues are, on average, over $300 less. This savings could be used to support any candidate or no candidate at all.
We respect ALL of our members’ political views … not just half of them.
